Dear New Parents/Carers,

The Friends of Cranbrook Primary School ( PTFA) is a group of Parents and staff who organise fund raising events in and around the school for students and their families. Last year we raised over four thousand pounds through such exciting events as a fashion evening, two quiz nights, a Christmas Fayre, an exciting “Race Night” event, a Mother’s Day shop and the annual Summer Celebration.

We would most welcome new parents to the group and are always looking for an extra pair of hands at all our events as well as any new fundraising ideas. It is very rewarding for the children to see their parents involved and, as well as providing financial support to the school, much enjoyment is to be had helping at these events.

 All money raised is spent on equipment for the school-Last year we purchased digital cameras, sports equipment and library books.

 Our events also provide a good chance to socialise and meet other parents from both your child’s year and other year groups in the school.

All events and meetings are well publicised in advance on the friends notice board at the school entrance, in the monthly school’s newsletter and up-dated on-line at the website.
