Welcome to the Cranbrook Church of England Primary School website. I hope our website will help you to find out more about our school.

We are proud of our school, which has been on its current site since 1985 and serves the community of Cranbrook and its surrounding area.

We cater for a wide diversity of pupils and our principal priority is to make sure that each child fulfils their maximum potential and achieves good progress in line with their ability. This is part of our vision and also something that was recently graded as good by Ofsted (June 2008 – report available at www.ofsted.gov.uk/reports )

We are a Church of England primary school and so our Christian ethos and values underpin the work we do, though we also appreciate other beliefs and cultures. Among our children we seek to promote self-esteem, confidence and success. Children at this school work well together and there are high levels of mutual trust, tolerance and collaboration in all aspects of the life of our school.

We are an active, healthy school, which promotes physical fitness, participation in a variety of sports and adventurous activities, healthy eating and a positive attitude to staying healthy and keeping safe. Our wonderful setting with extensive grounds and facilities enables us to offer your child a rich diet of extra-curricular activities as well as an excellent learning environment.

We are committed to partnership with parents and the wider community. Your role in your child’s learning is crucial and we seek to work closely with you, regularly sharing information about progress and achievements at regular intervals and supporting you to support your child.
